These courses are recognized by and co-organized with the Portuguese Institute for Nature Conservation and Biodiversity (ICNB) www.icnb.pt and are part theory and part practical, the former (about 5/6 hours) based mainly on relevant sound recordings and photographs, the latter (about 10/11 hours), putting theory into practice in the field. The courses usually run for two days (over a weekend) and are normally limited to 20 participants.
